Product is amazing for face and body- very gentle on my sensitive skin

I found this this product and was excited to try it. And I have a feeling using it can become a great new beauty routine for a relaxed self-care evening. The Malibu mud feels refined, very soft and applies easily on the face. It smells beautifully of lavender, calms and soothes the skin. When I washed off the mud my skin felt softer than ever before, refreshed and pure. The mud feels sustainable and gives a hydrating feeling with a wonderful glow. For next editions it would be amazing if there were a possibility to add an ingredient so that the mud washes off easier.

This blue-grey mud-based mask has a lot of nice, natural ingredients like aloe vera. It goes on nice and smooth and thick. I don't know how long it usually takes to dry, because I forgot I had it on. It was difficult to remove although it's supposed to rinse off. I had to get a scrub and use face cleanser to remove all the residue, and my face felt super soft and moisturized even after all that. It may be easier to remove if you don't wait until it's completely dry, maybe about 10 minutes would be better.

I like this mask. It feels really soothing. Its not the thickest texture I've tried for a charcoal/dead sea -based mask but I think that is pehaps why it doesn't make my skin too dry. Usually the charcoal type masks will dry my skin and I will need to use a mosturizer after the mask. With this mask I don't feel I need a moisturizer though I do use them in conjunction with this on some occasions.

For me, the best thing about this product is the ingredients and the care taken in selecting them. I like how natural this product is. It doesn't have an artificial smell at least not one I can pick up. The ingredients are all vegan, cruelty-free, and there isn't anything artificial. This is the area that brings some justification to the price point. Though I still think it's a little steep.

The packaging is done well. I like the glass jar because it tends to keep the product fresher.

The feel of this product and the results are also great. My skin comes out looking clean and revitalized. It feels so relaxing after you apply it. Like most clay masks it has a cooling feel on the skin and as it dries it does tighten a little. Not nearly as much as other masks I have used though. When I remove it I can tell it removed oils from my skin.

Overall I am a fan of this mask. I don't use it too often, maybe once or twice a week. It is pricey but as I mentioned I feel like it is priced at least comparable to its competitors. The brand I had not tried before this but after trying I would definitely try other skincare items from them since this one was great. All around good detoxifier.

The Malibu Mud is charcoal grey and has the consistency of a cream. It is provided in a 3.5 ounce jar. Among its ten ingredients are four abrasive/absorbent materials: charcoal, Kaolin, Bentonite, and Dead Sea Mud (scrolls are not included). The charcoal gives it its color. Dead Sea Mud is especially good because it is rich in magnesium, which can improve skin and muscles. As I spread it, I did not feel any grittiness. It cleaned the excess oil off my face. However. after removing it with warm water, I kept finding grey spots that I had missed. It works better to use it before showering.
